(PLEASE READ THE DETAILS) How can I optimize my internet connection speed?
I’ll only give best answer to good, thorough answers.
I’m using an Intel MacBook Pro with OS 10.4.10. I have two options to connect to the network here at Stanford: ethernet and airport wireless. I seem to have the sam problem though, with whatever method of connection I choose. The video pauses to load, which shouldn’t be happening because it is streaming at 1000k and the website PC Pitstop registered my downstream at 2692 kbs. I ‘m thinking there is some sort of tweak I can do to stop this from happening other than lowering the video quality to like 310k.
I know there is so many differernt things that are out there that claim to optimize your connection but I regret to tell you that I have tested many different ones and I have had NO luck.. not even a little. 0%
Google accelerator is possibly something that may help. Its free so its probably worth the try either way.

I know your looking for a tweak or something but theres many out there just google them, but be careful they can harm your pc.
