Broadband speed,who’s telling the truth?
BT testing my broadband speed at my house with there lap top gave a dls of1.1 meg ok he said for my location,when he left I did a broadband speed online and got 156kbps .Do online speed tests give a low reading to sell a product? or bt ahigh reading to kid customers?
a download speed of 1.1MB/s would mean you have a 10Mb line?
a 1.1mbit connection would let you download at up to 140kbs.
when companys advertise broadband they advertise in mbit/s Mb, there are 8 mbits in a megabyte MB.
is this maybe what hes meaning.
speedtest is a good one, if your only getting 156kbs on speedtest.net thats barely even broadband
