St. Tropez is fabulous at this time of the year- not that it ever needed a specific time to boast its fabulousity.
Steven was happy to be taking his yearly vacation here with his wife, and it made it even more fun when their buddies Samantha and Lloyd cleared up their schedules in the last minute to join them under the Mediterrenean Sun.
As they were sitting outside at a cafeteria enjoying a lazy afternoon and watching some gorgoeus mediterrenean people passing by, Lloyd’s eyes caught a walking poster of plastic surgery done right. She had epic breasts, line-free face and inflated lips done just right, so as not to scream out ; “Pamela Anderson ready for yet another Playboy shoot”, she looked much more natural, and charismatic. Most importantly there was an air of innocence about her despite her breathtaking beauty that is literally impossible to find in LA, where they resided.
Lloyd said to the group without taking his eyes off this innocent-temptress; “(1)I don’t know what to say, so I’ll just say what’s inmy heart…Baboom, Baboom,Baboom.” That was the perk of having a marriage of 27 years with his wife, they were both keen on expressing every thought out loud, the moment the thought occurred. Especially when they were on vacation.
Samantha raised her eyes towards the heavens and sighed; ” Lloyd, you’re such an idiot, that girl wouldn’t give you the time of day, even if you were 10 years younger and 10 millions richer!”
Lloyd turned to look at his wife, then to their beloved friends, Steven and Martha, who were watching this exchange in amusement, and said;”Sammy is right, you know. (3)I always feel like an idiot, But I am an idiot, so it kinda works out!”
Samantha chimed in; “(5)My husband and I fell in love at first sight…maybe I should have taken a second look.” Then she turned to Lloyd who was sipping his MaiTai while still ogling everyone passing by on their way to the beach and said;” Maybe we should go to our suite for a little while, get in the tub, turn on some classical music while we soak…” Lloyd piped up;”The tub is actually a good idea, hon. We could get a couple’s massage afterwards, but I don’t know about listening to anymore classics. The truth is (4)I can’t listen to that much Wagner, I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.”
Samantha laughed and said, “Then how about simply lying on the beach and reading some books that we can discuss later on. I brought along some classics like ‘War and Peace’, “Kramazov Brothers’, and ‘Crime and Punishment’”, she said with a meaningful smile. The subtle meaning got lost on Lloyd who groaned and said; ” (2) I took a speed reading course and read ‘War and Peace’ in twenty minutes. It involves Russia.”
While Steven and Martha burst into laughter, obviously entertained by their friends’ humorous bickering, Samantha smiled diplomatically, determined not to show that she was about to lose her patience with her husband, so she told Lloyed to get up and that they are heading to their suite to get some relaxation and quality time. Their friends told them to enjoy themselves and that they would catch them later at the dinner.
Right before Sammy and Lloyd left Steven and Martha at the cafe to walk up to their hotel, Samantha turned to their friends and said; “Mark my words, I will put some class and sophistication in this husband of mine even if it takes the rest of my life.”
Martha giggled and Steven raised a solemn hand and said; “(6)May the force be with you!”, which made Samantha roar with laughter, despite herself.
As she hurried her steps to catch up with her husband who was on his way to the lobby, she turned around and called out;”I will not dissappoint you, master”, the laugher erupting from Steven and Martha’s table, caused a number of curious glances thrown their way.
It was always hilarious vacationing with these people.
