Iphone 3gs vs. standard 3g?

Ive been reading a lot of mixed reviews (especially on here). Would like to hear from anyone who has a Iphone 3gs or 3g as Im going to get either one regardless. The 3gs with a 2 year contract is $199 vs. the 3g which is $99…That means the price really isnt that big of a deal seeing as how I was thinking 3gs but since there will definitely be a new and probably better iphone next year maybe I just mind as well get the 3g and save my money? Any thoughts?

I got my iphone 3g about a month and a half ago, its a good phone, the big difference between the two phones to me is……………The iphone 3gs has a video camera and can sent video messages and picture messages other than that, the iphone 3g is already fast as far as loading sites and the new 3.0 update has like 100 new updates which was good, i like the copy and paste feature,……so u wouldn’t see a difference unless u had both in your hand
