A friend of mine said she sat down and read the new Harry Potter book in 3 hours. Is this possible or is she telling little white lies? Back up what you say with proof that I can see please.
This book has 759 pages. Yeah I highly doubt she read it in 3 hours. I know some people can read quickly but didnt think this quick.

Well, it’s 784 pages long, so 784 divided by 3 hours (or 180 minutes) is 4.36 pages per minute.
To put it another way, 180 minutes is 10,800 seconds, so to find the number of seconds she spent on each page divide 10,800 by 784 and you get 13.8 seconds per page.
Yeah, she’s lying.
