burned cd on mac desk top 2006 won’t play in car or stereo system?

-macintosh hd burner down loaded
-used cd-rw cd
-burned off itunes. set preference to burn music cd
-burn worked/cd will only read on the computer
-burned cd will not read on stereo system or a car stereo
-first time trying this. burned 5 cds, non would read in car
-frustrated!
maybe the speed of the burn. i used max speed.
maybe the hd burner that i down loaded is a problem?

went on apple website; no help; other people having problems even playing cd on their NEW macs! yeah! some saying that they had to have their brand new computer replaced because the cd readers weren’t even working on a new computer; and several post about importing cd problems and not being able to read a music cd, or eject them.

Be sure you have the “burn’ settings for music CD not MP3.
I trashed a few thinking I was on Audio, but I burned MP3 disks. but it sounds like you might need Roxio burning software. I use a Mac mini superdrive and Macbook 5 months old.
BTW. I trashed the old Superdrive in my G4 Quicksilver using the wrong disk. read your manual for you drive and make sure the disks are compatible. mine does not like RW (re-writable disk) use a CD-R disk. few CD players will play re-writable disks or CD-RW
