Ebooks are the wave of the future, and the wave is here now!  You can learn how to create your own ebooks and earn extra money.  It’s as easy as 1-2-3!  If you don’t already know…electronic books, also known as Ebooks, are electronic text versions containing special formatting features of printed books, which are delivered to consumers in digital formats and then read on a computer.  An important fact is that they are one of the hottest properties on the Internet today!  Ebooks fall into two categories, i.e. those you read on a desktop or laptop, and those you download to a specialized device.  The advantage of an Ebook over a regular printed text book is that you can read them on your computer and easily adjust the screen size or text size for optimal viewing.

Ebooks are not simply written for marketing purposes only…they are about everything for everybody, everywhere, and at anytime.  Ebooks can be searched ”globally” just by keywords – you can find massive information in many Ebooks.  They often contain hyperlinks that direct you to dynamic, resources of information that may not be available in a printed text book.  Ebooks can be viewed online on any computer connected to the Internet, and downloaded in a matter of minutes onto a desktop computer through an Internet connection, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection.  Online viewing allows you to view an Ebook from any computer that has a live Internet connection…and then be ordered and downloaded onto your computer, with the cost charged to a credit card.

Now, that you have some knowledge about Ebooks, you may want to learn how to create your own Ebook.  So, you’re not an author – go for it!  First of all, you don’t have to write well…if this scares you, consider hiring a copywriter or purchase a software program to write your articles for you.  If you are able to put 500 plus words onto a piece of paper, you can write your own ebook.  Writing your first Ebook can consist of 5-10-15 pages, which is considered a mini-ebook…but, you can write as many as you need to get your point across.  You want enough content for your Ebook; so, determine what information is relevant to you and others or get ideas from “free” articles, and then put your information into an outline form as a starting point.  Do not worry about the small things like the kind of font, color of fonts, number of pages, title, cover, etc…just concentrate on the outline of your Ebook first.  Just to let you know a little tidbit…all your pages (chapters) for an ebook are created as easy HTML files/documents.  After you have written your first ebook, you’ll want to write more and more…and then, you can possibly think about selling them online for a little extra income!
