I just adopted a dog…?
I recently adopted a terrier mix from the humane society. he is completely healthy as far as we know.
However, immediatly we came across a problem… Gas.
For weeks we’d just try to ignore the problem, we tried other foods, treats, no treats, different treats… everything…
I do believe he is part boston terrier and I read that they usually have gas because of their short snouts and the speed at which they eat. So, since my dog hates apples I Put a couple in his food dish. He slows down to eat because he has to pick around the pieces. It’s not a lot of apples just a few pieces.
So I’m wondering, is this okay that I put apples in his dish? He slows down and gas is less of a problem.
